EU Harmonization and Negotiation Unit

» To coordinate the participation of the Turkish private sector as regards to the harmonization of Turkish legislation with the acquis,

» To conduct research and prepare memorandums and reports on the subjects of the EU and Türkiye-EU relations,

» To present views and suggestions on Chapters during the harmonization process with the EU,

» To respond to enquiries from Chambers and firms on the subject of the EU,

» To have the EU Documentation Centre meet EU standards and provide services,

» To track and follow developments on EUROCHAMBRES-TOBB relations; to coordinate the active participation of the Union regarding EUROCHAMBRES operations,

» To carry out secretariat duties of the Türkiye-EU Joint Consultative Committee, to take part in Committee meetings and coordinate the participation of the representatives of the Union,

» To carry out secretariat duties of the TOBB-Washington representation,

» To take part in policy-making at a national level and EU harmonization efforts on vocational training. In this framework, to carry out efforts on developments of vocational training in accordance with the needs of the private sector, to adopt an active role as regards to mechanisms of governance, to inform the Chambers and receive their views, to prepare Union papers on various aspects,

» To provide coordination and data flow with the TOBB Brussels Office.
