Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The department’s aim is to provide all relevant commercial and economical information needed by the chambers and commodity exchanges in Türkiye, as well as designing websites and implementing programs and provide technical support towards facilitating the accessibility of said information.

 

Our department provides index information pertaining to the Turkish Trade Registry Journal to its subscribers and keeps track of the members’ subscriptions. As Official Statistics coverage with the aid of the Turkish Trade Registry Journal, monthly statistics are published online.

 

Non-standard information not readily available from current databases is researched according to requests and delivered those concerned. The department addresses requests for information via TOBB’s existing databases or subscribed databases, information centers and libraries and also improves and expands its own information sources and databases.

 

The identification and the acquisition of or the subscription to national and international sources of information is handled by the department. Through partnerships with various institutions, projects pertaining to the gathering of additional information required for our databases are in progress.

 

Maintaining the quality of services and products; working towards centralizing the information and information compiling services provided by the Union; providing and distributing of economical, foreign trade and industry information requested by departments of TOBB; the design and implementation of graphics, brochures, banners, logos, animated and still visuals for use in websites or as per request by various TOBB departments are among the services provided by Information Services department.

 

In order to maintain an institutional aspect, the uniformity of the logo, emblem, theme and visuals belonging to TOBB are under continual supervision.

 

The design of the Union intranet site, maintaining the accessibility of information such as the internal circular letter, meal list and phone registry in addition to  providing relevant information to personnel on the intranet site are also handled by our Department.
