Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The third “Screen of the Future Summit,” organized in cooperation with Netflix, Habitat Association and TOBB Creative Industries Council, was hosted by TOBB.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber/Exchange Council Members Information Seminar, covering the days of November 23-24, 2024, was held at TOBB Twin Towers. Cengiz Delibaş, Deputy Secretary General of TOBB, stated in his speech at the opening of the seminar that the participants will be informed about the institutional structure and affiliates of TOBB.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Civil Aviation Council Meeting was held in Istanbul under the chairmanship of the Council President Bilal Ekşi with the participation of TOBB Vice President Şekib Avdagiç.​

During the first ten months of the year 2024 the number of newly established Companies, the number of sole proprietorships and the number of cooperatives decreased by 12,2% 20,8% and 15,0% respectively according to the same period of the year 2023.​

The delegation consisting of Trade Counsellors and Diplomats from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Estonia, France, Croatia, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovenia and Greece, headed by Dominik Olewinski, Head of Trade and Economics Department of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Türkiye, visited TOGG and Siro Energy Factories under the organization and hosting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​

Gaziantep Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member Tuncay Yıldırım attended the 2nd Turkish-German Restructuring Conference hosted by Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce (GTO).​

The “Conference and Panel on the Centenary of the First Polish Industrial Exhibition in İstanbul” was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the “Polish Exhibition” held in İstanbul in 1924, where Polish industry was introduced for the first time.​

Czech Minister of Agriculture Marek Vyborny, accompanied by Vice President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce Jana Havrdova, Czech Ambassador to Ankara Petr Stepanek and a delegation of business people, visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and attended the Türkiye-Czechia Business Forum.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber/Exchange Assembly Members Information Seminar, which took place on November 16-17, 2024, was held at TOBB Twin Towers. Cengiz Delibaş, Deputy Secretary General of TOBB, stated in his speech at the opening of the seminar that the participants will be informed about the institutional structure and affiliates of TOBB.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Patent and Trademark Attorneys Council held its last meeting of the year at the Union headquarters under the chairmanship of Council President Kemal Yamankaradeniz with the participation of TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken.​
