Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Vice President Tamer Kıran and TOBB Deputy Secretary General Sarp Kalkan attended the B20 Indonesia Summit held in Bali on November 13-14, 2022.​

During the first ten months of the year 2022 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives increased by 24,9% and 30,5% while the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 4,1% with respect to the same period of the year 2021.​

With the participation of Dominican Investment Agency Director Biviana Riveiro and Dominican Ambassador Elvis Antonia Alam, Turkish businesspeople were informed about the investment opportunities in Dominica. ​

An online meeting was held by the Montenegrin Chamber of Economy and the Secretariat of the Regional Cooperation Council (ICC) with the participation of banking and private sector representatives of the Montenegro Bankers' Association and the Regional Cooperation Council (BIK), the current chairman of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP).​

At the TRABİS Launch Event held at the Information and Communication Technologies Authority, TOBBUYUM Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center was given an activity certificate and authorized as a “Dispute Resolution Service Provider” for internet domain names.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Forestry Products Council visited Deputy Minister of Trade Volkan Ağar at his office.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Capital Markets Council Meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Sudi Aydemir with the participation of high-level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations.​

TOBB Türkiye Technical Consultancy Council convened by video conference with the participation of TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken under the chairmanship of Council President H. İrfan Aker to consult on the current issues of the sector.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) HVAC-R Sector Council hosted a “Productivity and Quality Seminar” at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz made a speech at the Türkiye-Tajikistan Business Forum held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, with the participation of Trade Minister Mehmet Muş. In forum Tajikistan Economic Minister of Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi and Trade and Industry of Tajikistan Chamber President Jumakhonzoda Jamdshed also made speeches. Faik Yavuz, before the Business Forum Held at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Dushanbe and attended by the Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş, attended the Turkish Business People Consultation Meeting. ​
