As a part of his USA visit, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with former US Secretary of State and Partners for New Beginnings (PNB) Chairman Madeleine Albright.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TOBB Board Members Şahin Bilgiç and Ebubekir Bal as well as TEPAV Director Prof. Dr. Güven Sak visited US House of Representatives Member Ed Whitfield at his office.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the World Bank Director Bertrand Badre in regards to Turkey’s Presidential Term of the G20 in 2015.​

The TOBB Delegation lead by M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended a business lunch on the second day of the US visit hosted by US Chamber of Commerce Chairman and CEO Senior Advisor Greg Lebedev.​

On the second day of the Washington D.C. visit, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Political, Economic and Social Research Foundation (SETA) and wished the SETA Director Erol Cebeci and SETA employees success.​

Meeting with the Turks working at the IMF and the World Bank, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they are very proud of them for representing Turkey in the best possible light.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Turkey’s Ambassador to the US, Serdar Kılıç.​

As a part of his US visit, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with US Deputy Assistant Secretaries Eric Rubin and Dr. Amanda Sloat.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with United States Trade Representative Daniel Mullanet and Mark Morway.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended a round table meeting hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies as a part of his US visit.​
