Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the delegation accompanying him visited Turkey’s Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Metin Kılıç at his office. During the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu and Ambassador Kılıç exchanged views on the Turkey-Kyrgyzstan economic relations.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Nizip Commodity Exchange following the Economies Mosaic Tax Awards Ceremony.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Turkey is indebted to all of you contribute to Turkey’s economy by paying taxes. If you did not trade or provide employment, how would taxes be generated?”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce and met with the Board of Directors and council members.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, speaking at the Industry Night, said, “Does Kayseri not deserve a high velocity train? I’ll leave it at that and let the government have its say.”​

313 Provincial Delegates elected by the 15,394 Insurance Agencies operating throughout the country elected the 40 Insurance Agencies which would go on to serve at the Insurance Agencies Sector Council at the elections held at the TOBB University of Economics and Technology campus.​

The TOBB Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO) Business Dinner was held with TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu hosting the event. Hisarcıklıoğlu, emphasizing that the two countries put great importance on the development of bilateral economic relations and while the Customs and Commerce Minister, Hayati Yazıcı, said that the environment of trust necessary for investment is present in Turkey. TATSO President Rolf A. Königs said, “EU cannot go on without Turkey. A privileged partnership is unacceptable. This needs to be full membership.”​

The Russian Federation Republic of Chechnya President Ruslan Edelgeriev and the delegation accompanying him visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the meeting of the Utility Construction Suppliers Federation (TİMFED) held at the TOBB Social Facility. Listening to the views and problems of the federation members in regards to their various sectors and the economy, Hisarcıklıoğlu gave sector assessments and conducted a presentation on the world’s economy.​

The attendees of the Partners for New Beginnings Global Summit hosted by TOBB in İstanbul convened at a reception and dinner Rahmi Koç Museum on the evening of the Summit’s first day.​
