The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu hosted the European Free Trade Association Parliamentary Committee Delegation at his office.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and B20 Turkey Chair M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are faced with problems we’ve never seen before in the global economy. We are talking about a time when an abundance of cash will no longer be present and when monetary tightening will be all too present.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Devrek Chamber of Commerce and Industry, meeting with President Zekai Bürkü and council members.​

The cooperation award for TOBB was presented to TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu as a part of UNESCO’s İsmail Gaspıralı Awards organized by the Turkish Speaking Countries International Journalists Association.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Stars of the Economy Awards Ceremony held by the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the signature ceremony for the TOBB Social Sciences High School Protocol.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) is appointing 81 academic consultants to 81 provinces. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We must prioritize our cities for success in global competition. We must reignite the fuse of local development. At the moment, 70 academic consultants have already been selected. The remaining 11 will be selected in the coming days. Consultants will produce projects for local development.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his press release regarding the January 10th Journalists’ Day, drew attention to the crucial role of journalists in the enlightenment of societies and the march of civilization, saying “Journalists’ honest and conscientious pens are what light the way for society. Never fret for a society with free and honest press.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu spoke at the Council Members Seminar taking place between the 9th and 11th of January, drawing attention to the competition between cities, stated that development starts on the local level.​
