Hisarcıklıoğlu condemned attacks on Ak Party Headquarters and Ministry of Justice
M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB, condemned the simultaneous attacks on the Ministry of Justice and Ak Party Headquarters. Reminding that the roots of brotherhood in our country existed for centuries, Hisarcıklıoğllu said, "The conscience of our people does not accept and curses any act other than peace and brotherhood. This should be known and understood by everybody. We shall stand as one and in solidarity against such attacks as we have always done.”

The Epic of Çanakkale is the name of the love for the country and independence
Releasing a message due to 18 March Martyrs Day and 98th Anniversary of Çanakkale Naval Victory, Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB, emphasized that the people who shared a common destiny on this land had shown in Çanakkale that they would be like one fist for their country and nation and would never give up independence.

Protectionism is not a solution in terms of growth and employment
M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB, who made a speech at the meeting “Approaching 9th WTO Ministerial Conference: Expectations from the World Trade Organization” which was held at TEPAV with the participation of Pascal Lamy, General Director of WTO, stated that it was meaningless for countries to take shelter under protectionist policies for the purpose of caring for their national industries, and said, “Our experiences proved that protectionism is not a solution in terms of growth and employment. Protectionism does not improve competitive power, or increase productivity".
