We are prepared for new customs gate modernizations

Visiting the city to attend the “Contributors to the Ardahan Economy Meeting”, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that they are ready to undertake the modernizations of 10 new customs gates and said, “If our Prime Minister approves it next week, the modernization of the Çıldır-Aktaş Customs Gate modernization will begin within a month.”​ ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and TOBB ETU Board of Trustees Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu made a statement regarding Osmaniye TOBB Science High School student Sümeyye Nur Satin and Konya Private Merve Büyükkoyuncu Science High School student Abdullah Coşkun in achieving full grades on all categories of the YGS (the university entrance exam) and said, “Such success from our children makes us proud.”​ ​

We must design our constitution with a sense of responsibility for the future generations in mind

Gaziantep discussed the new constitution. Stating that the tailor will be the people themselves, Hisarcıklıoğlu said “We must design our constitution with a sense of responsibility for the future generations in mind. You, constitution volunteers, should be the fundamental elements of this process. I will say it clearly: Turkey will have difficulty moving forward with a constitution which is often changed, its spirit stuck between the sovereignty of the people and the elite. The present constitution no longer fits this body.”​ ​

Turkish private sector’s Netherlands landing

TOBB and DEİK President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and a private sector committee of approximately 100, aiming to assess cooperation and investment opportunities in the Netherlands, will be accompanying the President of the Republic, Abdullah Gül, during his state visit to the Netherlands as part of the 400th anniversary of the establishment of Turkey-Netherlands diplomatic relations.​ ​
