Hisarcıklıoğlu wishes love, peace and prosperity for the New Year
In his New Year’s message, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu wished for more love, more peace and prosperity for our country and the world in 2012. Emphasizing that Turkey has big goals, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We, as the business world want to run, to sprint in order to raise the prosperity and richness of our country, to provide everyone with employment opportunities. We want to increase our entrepreneur numbers to the maximum in the New Year. Not stopping until we are the pinnacle of right, justice and richness becomes us.”

The EU market is shrinking. We need to go to the areas we’ve neglected
Speaking at the DEİK 2011 Regular General Assembly, TOBB and DEİK President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that in 2012, the EU market would shrink in terms of credit and foreign currency income, saying, “We must go to geographies we have neglected until today and discover the world. We must take our businessmen and companies to these areas. Chief among these areas are Asia and South America.” Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Asia should be used as an importation base, not exportation.

The only remedy trade needs is peace
Attending the Tax Record Holders Awards Ceremony held by the Şırnak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “If you want to prosper, you have to open the way for it. There is only one remedy trade needs and that is peace. We all have parts to play in this. We must not alienate each other and love each other for the sake of Allah, when we can disregard the faults of others and see their good sides, we will prosper.”

We must bring the railroad which Atatürk wished for to Trabzon
