In his press release regarding the March 18th Martyrs’ Commemoration Day and the 101st Anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “One of the most important turning points of our history, the Çanakkale Naval Victory, is the best example of national unity and solidarity.” Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message:​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in a press release regarding the terror attack which took place in Ankara, referring to the attack as a disgraceful incident for humanity, “This heinous attack in the capital is an attack on the lives of innocents as well as the unity and solidarity of our country.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his March 14th Medicine Day that all humanity is indebted to the practitioners of the medical profession. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We can never repay doctors and medical sector workers who serve humanity with their accumulated experience and knowledge gained through hard work from studying night and day.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his statement regarding the March 8th World Women’s Day, stated that societies which attempt to push women back in society cannot be considered civilized.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Labor and Social Security Minister Süleyman Soylu at the business luncheon held at TOBB.​

Stating that Iran is both our neighbor and natural trade partner, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The most recent change which draws attention in Tehran is the abundance of foreign delegations. It is impossible to book hotels. When we were there, delegations from Italy, Romania and Australia were also present in the city.” The visit, which proved positive, also received a message that, “We must work together,” from Iran.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chair Khalid Almoayyed signed an agreement for the development of bilateral trade and economic relations.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received the League of Arab Nations Turkey Representation Office Ambassador Mohammed Fatah Al Naciri at his office.​

TOBB and Turkey – EU JAC Co-Chair M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Turkey – EU JAC Co-Chair Annie Van Wezel at TOBB.​

Republic of Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Ankara, Prof. İbrahim Cunusov visited the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​
