Giant leap in employment and vocational training project
New agreements have been signed for the UMEM Ability’10 Project which aims to develop employment and vocational training. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu urged the unemployed to, “Come, learn a vocation; join production,” as well as requesting that the business world to address their employment needs via this project.

The maritime sector should receive the same support as its global competitors
Speaking at the TOBB Maritime Trade Chambers Council Meeting attended by the Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communication Minister Lütfi Elvan, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The maritime sector requires the same support as its global competitors.” Hisarcıklıoğlu, reminding that maritime goods and passenger transportation is a part of the “Prioritized Investment Subjects” of the new investment incentivisation package, and requested of Minister Elvan that ship building sector be included in the “Large Scale Investments” category.

Sungurlu delegation visited Hisarcıklıoğlu
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received the Sungurlu Municipality Director Abdülkadir Şahiner, Sungurlu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO) Chairman Alaittin Akel and the accompanying delegation. Hisarcıklıoğlu extended his wishes for the continued success of Şahiner and Akel.
