Kırklareli delegation’s visit to TOBB

Hisarcıklıoğlu on Working Journalists’ Day: “Journalists are the light of society”
In his message celebrating the January 10th Working Journalists’ Day, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that journalists work hard with devotion to rapidly provide accurate information to society, said, “The press is an indispensable part of democracy and modern order, it is the mirror that reflects the events of the world. Journalists are the light of society. We will see further and more clearly the stronger that light is.”

Citizens have the say for the new constitution
Speaking at the opening of the citizen meetings organized by the Constitution Platform, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the new constitution should focus on the individual; oppose discrimination; enact the principle of equality in all fields of social life; grants individuals the opportunity to benefit from universal rights and freedoms; be an institution that preserves the understanding of a democratic, secular and social justice government.

Entrepreneurship is just as much a national duty as military service
Speaking at the founding ceremony of the Turkey Entrepreneurship Council, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that entrepreneurship is a necessity in Turkey, saying, “Creating entrepreneurship is a national duty. We must judge entrepreneurship just like we do with military service.”
