Davut ÇETİN - Member

Davut Çetin was born in Antalya on January 1st, 1965. He completed his primary education at Antalya Namık Kemal Primary School, middle school at Antalya Central Secondary School and high school education at Antalya Industrial Vocational High School Machinery Department and then graduated from Akdeniz University Machine Design Department.

 

He has been active in the automotive sector with the Antalya-based GMY Cetin Motor Company since 1987. In addition to spare parts trading and engine rehabilitation works, he is also working on the automatic gearbox renovation work in his company established in Istanbul in 2015. GMY Çetin Motors has many first prizes in its field in Turkey.

 

Having taken up duties in the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 1999, Davut Çetin has been a member of the Professional Committee, Member of the Budgetary Committee, Member of the Transportation Commission, Member of the Board of ATSO Athletics & Sports Club, Member of the Assembly and Deputy President of the Board of Directors. Çetin also served as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Member of the Entrepreneurial Board of the Antalya Organize Industrial Zone between 2008-2010. Davut Çetin, who was elected to the Assembly Membership and Deputy President of the Board of Directors in the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry elections held in 2013, was elected as the President of the Board of Directors on February 16th, 2015.

 

At the 2018 elections, Davut Çetin was reelected as President of Antalya CCI; he was elected as a TOBB Board Member at the 74th TOBB General Assembly and currently continues to fulfill these duties.

 

Davut Çetin is married with two children.
