The 61st Ordinary General Assembly of the TRNC Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce was held in Nicosia on August 31, 2024. On behalf of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu, Member of the Board of Directors and Co-Chair of the Türkiye-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum, attended the General Assembly​

TRNC President Ersin Tatar, TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, President of the Supreme Court Bertan Özerdağ, Main Opposition CTP Chairman Tufan Erhürman, Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı, TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu, TRNC Minister of Labor and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu and TRNC Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Hüseyin Çavuş also attended the General Assembly. The 61st Ordinary General Assembly continued with the election of the Assembly of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce.


Following the meeting, Lokmanoğlu held various meetings and field visits regarding the cold storage to be established in Güzelyurt.
