Speaking before the election of the Presidium, Şekib Avdagiç emphasized the importance of the Civil Aviation sector for Türkiye. Avdagiç stated that they will convey the needs and demands of the sector with a common voice and that they will seek solutions to their problems together, and emphasized that the power of the sector Council comes from its members.

After the members of the Council introduced themselves, the election of the Council Presidium was held. In the election, Bilal Ekşi, General Manager of Turkish Airlines, was unanimously elected as the President of the Council, and Mehmet T. Nane, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Private Sector Aviation Enterprises Association (TÖSHİD), was elected as the Vice President.
