Of the 4,591 capacity reports approved in August, 1,206 were issued in Ä°stanbul, 323 in Ankara, 305 in Bursa, 283 in Ä°zmir, 224 in Konya, 142 in Kocaeli, 137 in Gaziantep, 127 in TekirdaÄŸ, 103 in Adana, 100 in Manisa.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database decreased by 1.4% (1,383) from 97,008 in August 2023 to 95,625 in August 2024.

According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 1.3% (51,219) from 3,956,985 in August 2023 to 4,007,814 in August 2024.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
