The TOBB Workgroup Meeting on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (KKDİK) was held in Ankara on November 4-5 in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and TOBB, with the physical participation of Nihat Yaman, Head of the Chemicals Management Department of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change; Ahmet Saygın Baban, Head of the Department of Sectors and Entrepreneurship at TOBB; Ayşe Çelebi Doğan, TOBB Türkiye Sector Assemblies Manager; officials from the Presidential Investment Office, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Ministry of Trade, and sector representatives.

The meeting started on November 4 with the opening speeches of Nihat Yaman, Head of Chemicals Management Department of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and Ahmet Saygın Baban, Head of TOBB Department of Sectors and Entrepreneurship. During the meeting, Ministry officials and sector representatives discussed the questions of the sector regarding KKDİK Procedures and Principles in round table discussions.

On the second day of the meeting, Ministry officials made a presentation on the outcomes of the roundtable discussions. In the presentation, the results of the discussions with sector representatives were discussed in detail and recommendations were emphasized. Following the presentation, the session continued with questions from sector representatives and Ministry officials provided answers to the questions.
