Türkiye Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry Council convened

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry Council meeting was held in İstanbul under the chairmanship of Yavuz Eroğlu, Chairman of the Council, with the participation of Şekib Avdagiç, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOBB, and İbrahim Burkay, Member of the Board of Directors of TOBB.
During the meeting, the effects of foreign market conditions such as tariff wars and the opportunities and risks brought by the newly published Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation in the EU on the sector were discussed.
The meeting was concluded with the presentation made by the Ministry of Industry and Technology to inform the Council about the “New Domestic Goods Communiqué” and the suggestions from the members of the Council.
