Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

​   TOBB Board Member Mr. Yardımcı and DEİK Turkish-Bulgarian Business Council Chairman Mr. Egemen held a meeting with Mr. Ramis Şen, Consulate General of Turkey in Plovdiv on March 17th. On March 18th, Mr. Yardımcı and Mr. Egemen met with Ambassador of Turkey in Sofia Mr. İsmail Aramaz, President of Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov and President of Turkish-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Zeki Bayram.    Mr. Yardımcı stated that the purpose of those meetings was to accelerate the stagnation of the bilateral economic relations and to focus on the cooperation between our SMEs.   TOBB-DEİK and Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry agreed that the upcoming activities of the Contracting, Tourism, Agriculture and SMEs Sub Committees, which have been established by their agreement signed in 19th March 2009, has to be done in accordance with the approved action plans of each.    Delegation made some preliminary contacts to organize meetings in the near future firstly on infrastructure, contracting, thermal tourism, agriculture and industry in Sofia. The delegation also shared their decisions regarding the Bulgaria’s participation to the Regional Business Forum which is going to be organize in Çanakkale this year.   III.Regional Business Forum will be organized by the name of Turkish-Greek-Bulgarian Business Forum.
