  Support was demanded from sector for Cooperative Education Program under TOBB Economy and Technology University. Ziya Sülünbe, Program Coordinator from TOBB ETU made a presentation on contributions of cooperative education’s purpose and process for students.Introducing Cooperative Education Program to Assembly members in detail, Ziya Sülünbe stated that they would like to make the firms and institutions provide apprenticeship opportunities for these students.  - Use of EPS hollow was pointed out  Meanwhile, during the assembly meeting, draft regulations regarding misuse of EPS (foam) hollows, hollow amendment matters as well as thermal insulation products (for buildings), mineral based gas concrete thermal plate and standards have been discussed. In addition, Assembly members were informed about Construction Techniques and Scientific Research Committee Enterprise (ITBAK) Documentation studies prepared to be submitted to Ministry of Public Works and Settlement, concerning misuse of EPS hollows were revised and schedule to be proceeded with was determined.  Another topic of the meeting was “Hollow Amendment to create assembly opinion on “Hollow Amendment Draft” and to create assembly opinion on “Thermal insulation products – for buildings – Mineral based Gas Concrete Thermal plate – Specifications Standard Draft” on which opinion was required by Turkish Standards Institution.   Participating to the meeting as a guest, Hakkı Usta Ömer, Chairman of ITBAK commented that a guiding document should be prepared by ITBAK in order to prevent misuse of hollow and to minimize the burdens, by informing assembly members about studies they carried out.   -“This year shall be the year of supervision” Taşkın Nar, Head of Construction Materials Department under Directorate General of Civil Works, Ministry of Public Works and Settlement also declared that this year would be the year of monitoring and supervision for the martket, but first of all they as Ministry are planning a training program prior to supervising.
