126 university students from twenty-two cities in Turkey participated in the 9th European Youth Forum on 22-24 October in İzmir, together with the Head of Delegation Hansjörg Haber, members of press and academia. The students attended training sessions on topics such as the Fundamental Rights of Refugees, the Refugee Crisis, and Integration of Refugees from the Turkish and EU Perspective and debated these issues in workshops. During the forum, moderated by Kaan Yakuphan, representatives from different religious and ethnic groups, students and refugee guests living in Turkey were set to discuss the theme “Refugees and rights” and deliberate on the results of a questionnaire.
