The Menemen Chamber of Commerce Council President Remzi Aktan has passed away. Expressing his sadness at Aktan’s death, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished for the Grace of Allah upon Aktan and presented his condolences to his family, the Menemen Chamber of Commerce and the business world.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Remzi Aktan’s name would always be remembered in the Menemen Chamber of Commerce for his contributions to the business world.

- Who was Remzi Aktan?

Born in Çüngüş in Jan. 1st 1948, Remzi Aktan finished teachers’ school after which he was appointed to Menemen Maltepe Village. Aktan taught there for 15 years, 8 in Menemen Central Atatürk Elementary School and retired from the Menemen Kubilay Elementary School in 1992.

Working in the jewelry sector after retiring, Remzi Aktan married and the father of two had been holding office as the Menemen Chamber of Commerce Council President Since 2004.
