The meetings of the Economic Cooperation Organization Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECO CCI) Committees were held in Tehran. President of Denizli Chamber of Commerce Necdet Özer, Hasan Hüseyin Erkoç, President of Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of Gümüşhane Chamber of Commerce and Industry İsmail Akçay, President of İnegöl Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Metin Anıl, President of Bayburt Chamber of Commerce and Industry İbrahim Yumak, Chairperson of Women Enterpreneurs Council of ECO CCI Şafak Çivici and TOBB delegation participated in the Committee meetings .
-Transportation Committee of the ECO CCI
ECO CCI Transportation Committee Meeting was held in Iran Chamber of Industry, Commerce and Mines, in Tehran. TOBB delegation, presided by Necdet Ozer, President of Denizli Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attended the Transportation Committee meeting.
Necdet Ozer pointed out that Asia surpassed Europe in terms of foreign trade volume. This performance, he noted, is a platform for the revitalization of the Ancient Silk Road and that ECO region became a hub for the East-West transit route with the region’s tranportation and distribution capabilities.
Necdet Ozer emphasized that ECO region, in addition to its fast developing economies, is strategically close to Europe and the United States, who are the two biggest consumers in the world. Therefore, Necdet Ozer noted, focusing on improving the logistics sector will offer many opportunities and will make the logistics sector dynamic enough to respond to global and consumer challenges. He also pointed out that public administrators should play a role in the facilitation of the transportation sector. Intermodal transportation is very important within the context of the revitalization of the Ancient Silk Road, Ozer said, and that Turkey is ready to share with the rest of the ECO Member States of her experiences in the intermodal tranportation

ECO CCI Trade Facilitation Committee Meeting was held in İran Chamber of Industry, Commerce and Mines, in Tehran. ECO CCI Trade Facilitation Committee Member and President of Bayburt Chamber of Commerce and Industry İbrahim Yumak, underlined the importance of the vitalization of ECO Trade Agreement (ECOTA) and Transit Transport Framework Agreement (TTFA) and stated that logistic infrastructure should be developed, visa procedures should be facilitated and participation in the fairs with ECO pavillions should be encouraged.

The Chairman of Industry & Investment Committee Mr. Metin Anıl made a statement on the importance of industrialization and improvement of the investment environment for sustainable economic growth in the ECO region.
Metin Anıl Chairman of ECO CCI Industry and Investment Committee expressed that industry strategy of the ECO region and the competition power of the companies should be formed. Metin Anıl, Chairman of ECO CCI Industry and Investment Committee also stressing the importance of the research and development, innovation, professional training, improvement of SMEs and clustering, also stated the necessity of the creation of cooperation in the region and implementation of the ECO Agreement on Promotion and Protection of the Investments.
Members of the Industry & Investment Committee of ECO CCI from the National Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the participating Member States made remarks on the investment climate and the industrial capacity in their respective countries.
