 Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasied the importance of Project and said  “We will teach people how to fish instead of eating fish.”

 

President Hisarcıklıoğlu, said “While I was travelling around the country I encountered a lot of unemployed people in coffee houses. All of the survey results shows the biggest problem as unemployment. According to the data of Turkish Statistical Instutite there are 3 million unemployed people in Turkey and 2 million people have lost their hope for employment.”

 

The goal in 2011 is to employ 200.000 people. An example of this project have already taken place in Korea. Korea trained about 600 thousand people. More accurately, the people were subject to courses that will help them to gain profession. In this context, Turkey’s model was developed by taking it as a role model. The reason of the unemployment is the lack of profession. When we ask people “what do you do?”, they say that “I can do everything”. But, this answer shows that they can not do anything.

 

Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that developed countries’ education systems are all based on vocational training and now in Turkey unemployed people can find jobs through an application from www.beceri10.org.tr.

 

All the infastrucute in vocational schools are re-newed according to the needs of private sector. For this re-newal 100 million TL is spent. Trainings will be provided in areas that are requested by private sector. Training duration will be 3 months and also internships will last 3 months. During this, people will be paid 15 TL per day. And these people are given %90 employment guarantee. People are provided both gold bracelet and pocket money.

 

In 5 years, 1 million people will be employed.

 

Mehmet Ali Birand asked the budget of Project and Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu answered;

 

“The budget of the Project is approximately 150 million TL. This is the most beneficial Project for people. People will gain profession and will learn how to fish. Every year 800 thousand young people are joining to the employment population. Also, there are 3 million people in the stock.”
