Visits to the TRNC Prime Minister Yorgancıoğlu and the Speaker of the Parliament Siber

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with Deputy Prime Minister Beşir Atalay, visited the TRNC Speaker of the Parliament Sibel Siber and TRNC Prime Minister Özkan Yorgancıoğlu at their offices. Present during the meetings were Director of Religious Affairs Mehmet Görmez, Turkey’s Ambassador to Lefkoşa Halil İbrahim Akça and TRNC Deputy Prime Minister, Economy, Tourism, Culture and Sports Minister Serdar Denktaş and other officials.
Deputy Prime Minister Beşir Atalay, Hisarcıklıoğlu and those with them visited Sibel Siber first. During the meeting, Atalay said, “Turkey has always stood alongside TRNC so that it may become stronger and advance; to live in peace.”
Atalay congratulated Siber on her election to the post of Speaker and stated that the election would bring change and dynamism to the parliament.
TRNC Speaker of the Parliament Sibel Siber expressed her joy for hosting such a large delegation and stated that the only country to recognize TRNC outside of the bonds of fraternity and solidarity is Turkey and that it is heartening to have its support.
Afterwards, visiting the TRNC Prime Minister Özkan Yorgancıoğlu, Atalay wished the PM a productive term while pointing out that PMs of coalition governments usually have a more difficult time.
TRNC Prime Minister Özkan Yorgancıoğlu would work with Turkey to develop its economy and bring resolution to the Cyprus issue.
