Addressing the provincial delegates prior to the elections for the TOBB Turkey Insurance Agencies Sector, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that a new organization was established under TOBB 7 years ago, “It has shown us in the last 7 years that our decision was the correct one. Great strides have been taken towards the development of the sector, disciplining itself, the training of its professionals as well the increasing client satisfaction.”

Stating that insurance is a primary tool in growing economies and increasing trade, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Trade means risk. Without risk, there is no profit. As economies grow, as figures grow, the ability to take risks diminishes.

If we are to reach our 2023 goals – that is to say, if we are to grow our economy and make every one of our citizens 2.5 times richer – we must spread awareness in regards to insurance.”

Insurance Agencies Sector Council identifies problems effecting the profession and provides suggestions for solutions, develop policy and strategies.

The Insurance Agencies Sector Council, which will serve for 4 years will hold its first meeting in December to appoint 7 primary and 7 secondary members for its Executive Committee from among its members.
