Gümüşhane Governor Yusuf Mayda expressed his pleasure in Hisarcıklıoğlu's visit.
Visiting the Gümüşhane Chamber of Commerce and Industry afterwards, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu and Governor Mayda were greeted with a folkloric dance display.
During his speech at the Chamber, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that work is akin to devotion for Turkish people and said, "Moving forward is only possible by acting together."
Stating that they keep track of all companies established in Turkey, Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that this year's number of companies established had increased by 2% compared to last year, with the increase reaching 8% in Gümüşhane.
Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that they focus on two main issues, said, "One of them is the matter of checks. Prison sentences in regards to dishonored checks have been removed. We've undertaken work with the Banking Union and the Credit Registry Bureau. This provides transparency in transactions wherein the two sides registered on the system can view each other's check history."
Hisarcıklıoğlu, on the second issue, that of providing vocational training to those without, said, "We are starting our project in cooperation with the Labor and Social Security Ministry, the National Education Ministry and İŞKUR in 81 provinces. When the person applies to the Labor and Work Institution they are provided with a list of possible sectors. The person then receives 3 month training in National Education Ministry schools.
For three months that person receives health insurance and a 25 TL allowance per day. Upon successful completion of the course at the end of 3 months, the school sends the person to work with you for 3 months. The health insurance and allowance continues on throughout that 3 month period as well. If at the end of that period the employer deems the person hirable, he receives his diploma. The employer is exempt from 33% of the person's insurance premium for up to 4.5 years. This allows the employer to employ that person for 33% cheaper as well as employing someone they trained themselves."
After the speeches, Governor Mayda and Hisarcıklıoğlu signed the protocol for the construction of a 16 classroom İmam Hatip High School, rest house and gym to be built by TOBB in Gümüşhane.
Afterwards, Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Gümüşhane Municipality Director Mustafa Canlı and spoke with him.
