Development of healthcare sector is an indication of the value put on the individual

In his statement for the March 14th Doctor’s Day, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the importance put on the healthcare sector by a society and the development of the healthcare sector indicates the value of and the respect for the individual.
Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his statement:
“Accepted as the anniversary of the beginning of modern medicine education in Turkey, March 14th Doctor’s Day is our best opportunity to express respect for those who dedicate their lives to human health.
A profession dedicated to human health is comprised of great devotion and effort. In this regard, it is only natural that these individuals who work day and night for the sake of one healthy breath are respected and loved by society.
As the umbrella organization of the business world, we have always put great importance on medicine. In this regard, we view the establishment of the TOBB ETU Medical Faculty and the work of it to be very important. Our goal in this is to become one of the best institutions of the field in Turkey and in the world.
It is with these thoughts and feelings that I, on behalf of the Turkish business community, heartily celebrate the March 14th Doctor’s Day, present our gratitude and wishes for their continued success.”
