We, the directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, the umbrella organization of our business community, stand in your presence prior to our 70th Financial General Assembly.
This homeland, founded through great adversity, is your greatest charge to us. As the Turkish business community, we have taken up this charge and that of keeping the memory of our sacred martyrs; have vowed to elevate our civilization to the pinnacle of humanity through hard work.
We will never forget the path you’ve drawn for us – never forget the goals you’ve set.
This year, we come to your presence with heavy hearts. The grievous disaster which took place in Soma in recent days has struck at the hearts of our nation. Our well-wishes and prayers are united for our martyred brothers and the loved ones they leave behind.
Great Leader Atatürk,
On behalf of our community, we remember you and all of your brothers in arms who fought to sweep the enemy out of our country and ensure the establishment of the Republic.
Let there be no doubt that your charge will endure.
Thanks to the trust you’ve shown in the Turkish free enterprise, our great community, having taken up the sacred duty of accomplishing that which is difficult; to lead through hope and energy as well as unity and solidarity, bow respectfully in your grand presence.”
