Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that it is his first visit to Tekirdağ following the chambers and exchanges elections, expressed his well wishes in regards to the results thereof. Stating that it is very gratifying to see all the chamber and exchange presidents of the Trakya region in unity and solidarity with each other, the TOBB President stressed that they hold offices of great service. Pointing out that the Tekirdağ Commodity Exchange is a 5-star exchange with its accreditation certification, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The Tekirdağ Commodity Exchange provides services on par with the global standard.”

- The importance of agriculture

Income has increased by 33% globally while agricultural goods prices have increased by 176%, reported Hisarcıklıoğlu and pointed out that Trakya’s rate of return is above Turkey’s average, going on to state that there is great potential for agriculture. Emphasizing that the region has great opportunity in regards to livestock, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We must connect these with the food industry.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu also stressed the importance of brand identity in whatever business they conduct.
