Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the İzmir International Fair is the most important of Turkey’s international fairs and has taken on the mission of contributing to Turkey’s economy.

Stating that İzmir, with its economy and culture, is a reflection of Turkey, Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed that İzmir is a star of a city.

The TOBB President pointed out competition between cities as an emerging trend and said, “İzmir has great potential to this end, as well as significant advantage.” Participatory democracy and administration mentality, civil and state organizations working together and the use of common sense is very gratifying.

Just so, I believe that İzmir as a global brand will achieve greater success with new projects.” Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the main theme of logistics as the most important Turkey has in global commerce, reporting that, as TOBB, they are actively involved in this matter via the Great Anatolia Logistics Organization (BALO).
