TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message:
“SME-focused activities are being held throughout the country at the same time as the European SME Week held in 37 countries by the European Commission between 29 September and 5 October. To this end, our Union and chambers/exchanges followed by private sector institutions, professional organization and public institutions are taking on various endeavors aimed at SMEs.
The number of activities of the private sector coordination of the European SME Week undertaken by our Union have consistently been the highest among the participating countries for the last 3 years.
Last year, 50% of all activities took place in our country with endeavors such as the promotion of extrepreneurship in schools, activities aiming to enable SMEs to go international as well as achieving institutional structure.
This year, both public and private organizations aiming to increase the competitive power of our SMEs with seminars, meetings, conferences and workshops taking place in all provinces.
To that end, I hope all of the activities undertaken as a part of the European SME Week between the 29th of September and the 5th of October, will light the way for our SMEs.”
