Receiving information regarding the TOBB ETU Garage and Technology Center which have taken on the duty of supporting the development of youth in the sciences, Minister Işık exchanged views regarding matters affecting the business world during the business lunch held afterwards.

 - TOBB ETU Garage

Founded in 2012 by TOBB ETU, “Garage” opens the gates of entrepreneurship to students even before they graduate.

Garage accepts candidates who have not participated in enterprises before but have potential to be entrepreneurs, presenting them with business opportunities and introducing them to professionals.

Students are provided with offices and infrastructure; design support as well as mentoring.

- TOBB ETU Technology Center

Opened during the 2013-2014 educational year and focusing primarily on engineering, arts and architecture study and research, TOBB ETU Technology Center houses 74 research labs, 13 design studios and 37 training labs.

Consolidating research and training under a single roof, the Tech Center provides students with opportunity to practice inter-disciplinary research and develop new ideas.
