Turkey – EU Joint Arbitration Committee (JAC) members visited Ergün Atalay who was reelected as Chairman during Türk-İş’ 22nd General Assembly.
The handing over of the role of Turkey – EU Joint Arbitration Committee (JAC) Co-Chair took place during the visit attended by Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Faruk Çelik, representatives and presidents of profession and civil society organizations.
During the ceremony, Turkey – EU Joint Arbitration Committee (JAC) Co-Chair handed over his role to TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they would be working in close cooperation with their counterparts in the EU as the Turkey – EU Joint Arbitration Committee.
TESK Chair Bendevi Palandöken stated that he is content to be handing over office to TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu.
Hisarcıklıoğlu extended his well wishes to Ergün Atalay in his new term in office and thanked Minister Çelik for his contributions to the business and labor community during his term as Labor and Social Security Minister.
Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Faruk Çelik extended his well wishes to Atalay and those taking role in the management of the syndicate, emphasizing the importance of the confederation for the Turkish labor movement.
Türk-İş Chair Ergün Atalay expressed his gratitude for the congratulations.
