Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The spirit of victory of August 30th is the core of our identity.”

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his address:

“We are proudly celebrating the anniversary of the Great Assault’s victory in Dumlupınar under the command of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in August 30^th, 1922.

Following the Battle of Dumlupınar, conducted under the command of the Commander-in-Chief Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, also known as the Field Battle of the Commander-in-Chief, invading forces were driven out of the country.

The martyrs and veterans of the War of Independence, of all ages, who put everything they had on the line, will forever reside in our hearts.

To be worthy of their charge, we will defend these lands and strive to carry our country forwards in the race of civilizations. This is our word; it is our debt of honor to our martyrs.

On behalf of the Turkish business world, I celebrate the August 30^th Victory day, our nation will thrive in a bright future so long as we stand united and in solidarity with our brothers.”
