Hisarcıklıoğlu's message is as follows:

“May 19^th, 1919, the ignition of the flame of our fight for independence, has a very special place in our history. The great struggle against the occupation forces under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal has become a glorious history written in the blood of our ancestors.

Gifting this significant day to our young people has very significant underlying meanings. Atatürk saw the future in the hands and hearts of the youth and trusted in them. We fully support this idea. They will be the architects of a beautiful future.

As the business world we are concerned with investing and giving more people the opportunity to work. We want to increase our national income, to produce more, to become richer, to have higher wealth. It is both our charge and promise to our glorious history to be at the forefront in the economy and civilization race.

It is with these feelings and thoughts, that I once again, commemorate all the veterans and martyrs, especially the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and brothers in arms, with gratitude and appreciation.”
