Erzincan Tulum Cheese receives geographical indication registration from the EU

The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that Erzincan Tulum Cheese is the 32nd product to receive a geographical indication registration the European Union (EU) and said, “I congratulate Erzincan and our country. I congratulate Ahmet Tanoğlu, President of Erzincan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Erzincan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Erzincan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors, Assembly and everyone who contributed.”
Stating that Türkiye has a product diversity that very few geographies in the world are blessed with, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, "As TOBB and the Chamber-Exchange community, we are making intense efforts for local and geographically marked products. Our work on 77 geographical indications and 3 traditional product names, which are in the process of the European Union, continues."
