Çanakkale Victory is the best example of what our nation can achieve in determination and unity

In his message for 18th March Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs Memorial Day, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that Çanakkale Victory is one of the milestones in our history and said “Mustafa Kemal and his comrades-in-arms wrote a legend in Çanakkale. This victory is the best example of what our nation can achieve in determination and unity.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu also said in his message:
“Çanakkale Naval Battles that were finalized with victory on 18th March 1915 had been a very important factor in the success of the following battles. Çanakkale Victory is a real epic that demonstrates a rare resistance and perseverance.
The biggest role in the point where our country reached today is of our martyrs who fought for independence.
Turkey, which is the 17th biggest economy in the world and an industrial giant in the geography between China and Italy, owes its strength to these great legends in its history.
As Turkish business community, we are trying to expand our economy, increase our prosperity, provide job opportunities for more people and increase the number of our entrepreneurs. Our only goal is to do the best in our area and to be worthy of our glorious history.
With these thoughts, I once again would like to commemorate Çanakkale Martyrs.”
