Ambassador of the Netherlands H.E. Jan Paul Dirkse and Commercial Counsellor David Naves visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu on 17 March 2011 at TOBB. The delegation exchanged views about the 400th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Turkey and Holland which will be celebrated in the year 2012. ​

The delegation gave also information about the visit of the Foreign Trade and Agriculture Minister Henk Blekers.
H.E.  Jan Paul Dirkse, expressed the scope of the preparatory work of Turkey - Netherlands 400th anniversary  celebration of diplomatic relations in the fields of economy and trade activities and said that they want to organize events to  bring the two countries’ people together.
TOBB Chairman Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the two countries have good economic relations and business council can take part in organizing business activities of 400th year anniversary.
