The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey’s Extended Council Meeting of Commodity Exchanges was held at TOBB with the participation of 111 presidents of Commodity Exchange. During the meeting the future of the licensed warehousing was discussed.
TOBB President, Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who delivered a speech at the meeting, pointed out that the new TOBB law enacted in 2004, lead to the elimination of the structural shortcomings for commodity exchanges. He also mentioned that the meeting will lead to a roadmap and enlighten the future of licensed warehousing.
Member of the Board of TOBB and President of the Board of Directors of Edirne Commodity Exchange Mr. Mustafa Yardımcı and the President of Polatlı Commodity Exchange and Chairman of Licensed Warehousing Corporation Yahya Toplu also delivered speeches about the structure and regulations of the Licensed Warehousing.
