On 30th November, 2010, newly assigned ambassador to Tajikistan, Mehmet Munis Dirik visited the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, at TOBB headquarters.​

The parties consulted about the revitalization of the historical Silk Road and the modernization of border gates. Additionally, the development of commercial and economical relations among Turkey and Tajikistan were consulted, where the ambassador pointed out his support to that issue.

 

 

 

 
Besides, Mr. Mehmet Munis Dirik informed about the upcoming visit of the President of the Tajikistan Republic, Ä°mamali Rahman to Turkey in December.
