Visiting the TOBB President for the first time, Ambassador Sharipov discussed with Hisarcıklıoğlu the investment opportunities in Tajikistan. The ambassador stated that Tajikistan presents many investment opportunities and projects, especially in energy, textile and agriculture and expressed his wishes to see Turkish companies take part in these.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the Turkish private sector wishes to take a greater part in Tajikistan. Hisarcıklıoğlu went on to say that TOBB and the Turkish private sector are always ready share their experience with the relevant institutions in Tajikistan; Hisarcıklıoğlu explained the benefits of the re-vitalization of the Silk Road and the modernization of the customs gates would provide Tajikistan and the region’s countries.
