Şefik Tokat sent off on his last voyage

Şefik Tokat, former TOBB Secretary General and Prime Ministry Head Consultant, who passed away recently was interred in the Karşıyaka Cemetery following the funereal prayer at the Ankara Kocatepe Mosque on Sunday, July 26 2011.
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu spoke of Tokat’s contributions to the TOBB community, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of Mr. Şefit Tokat. I pray for the grace of Allah to be upon him and present my condolences to his family, loved ones and our community.”
In addition to the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TOBB Board Members, Chamber and Commodity Exchange Presidents from the various counties and provinces of Turkey, TOBB Secretary General and personnel as well as various bureaucrats, his family and many friends attended the funeral.
