Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During the visit the recent commercial and economic relations between the two countries were assessed while the political atmosphere in Germany was discussed.

Touching upon the cooperation of the automotive sectors between the two countries, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that companies such as Toyota and Hyundai have been producing with zero error from their factories in Turkey and Mercedes has joined their ranks.

The TOBB President wished Franz Koller the best, who will continue his duty in South Africa, “We are ready on behalf of the Turkish private sector to do everything necessary to continue our cooperation there as well.”

Being informed by TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu about the economic state of Turkey after the election, Franz Koller stated that the Greens were in a strong position for leadership in the upcoming elections in Germany. Koller stated that they were happy with their investments in Turkey, and that they had increased Mercedes truck and bus production in Turkey as per demand.
