With the participation of Cengiz Günay, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Meryem Çerkez Gürtunç, Chairwoman of the Committee of Women Entrepreneurs of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (KTTO), and members of the Committee, the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Upper Board Meeting was held online chaired by Nurten Öztürk, President of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council.
TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay expressed satisfaction in meeting with KTTO President and members, adding that “I believe that women entrepreneurs from both countries can create beautiful projects together and support each other.”
Nurten Öztürk, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President, firstly wished that the establishment of the KTTO Women Entrepreneurship Committee would be auspicious and fruitful. Öztürk, provided information about the work of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council. She said, “We would be happy to support the projects you want to implement in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.”
KTTO Women Entrepreneurs Committee Meryem Çerkez Gürtunç stated that they have taken TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council as a role model and said they are open to opinions and suggestions.
TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Vice Presidents will meet with the members of the KTTO Women Entrepreneurs Committee as soon as possible to carry out studies on the projects to be carried out in order to ensure cooperation.
The meeting ended with the introduction of women entrepreneurs from both countries.
