Climate Change and Adaptation Coordination Board holds second meeting of the year

Climate Change and Adaptation Coordination Board convened at Ankara İlbank Social Facilities under the chairmanship of Mehmet Özhaseki, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.​

TOBB Board Members Zeki Kıvanç and Seyit Ardıç, who attended the meeting on behalf of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, made evaluations on the agenda items.

The final versions of the National Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan (2023-2030) and Climate Change Mitigation Strategy and Action Plan (2023-2030) were unanimously adopted at the meeting.

In addition, comprehensive consultations were held on the outcomes of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change held in Dubai between November 30 and December 12.
