“We celebrate April 23^rd, the birth of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, with great pride and joy. Sovereignty and independence are our nation's greatest assets. Our gratitude to the Great Ataturk and his comrades, to those who sacrificed their lives for the independence of this beloved homeland, will last for generations. Our children are the greatest protectors of this trust.

As the Turkish business community, we will make every effort to make our Republic strong in line with its principles and goals and to take our country to a higher level. We are determined to fulfill our duties to the end in order to realize economic development, which is the basis of prosperity and happiness, at the level of the most advanced countries.

With these feelings and thoughts, I celebrate the April 23^rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day with the most heartfelt feelings for our beloved nation and our children, the guarantee of our future.”
