He was born in 1965 in Kayseri. He completed his primary and secondary education in Ahmet Pasha Primary School, Dedeman Secondary School and Kayseri High School. He graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1987. He served in the HES group between 1988-2000. In early 2000, he founded the Güven Engineering Company with his friends. At present, he is involved in partnership with two companies as well as being a partner of and taking part in the management of Anka Elektrik Co. Inc. Mehmet Büyüksimitci speaks English and is married with two children.
