Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Born in 1964 in Antalya, Ali Çandır is the founding partner and manager of Flash Agricultural Products LLC and Aktif Fide LLC operating in the field of production and export of agricultural products.

Since 2009, Ali Çandır has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Antalya Commodity Exchange and is also the Chairman of Antalya Agriculture Council. Mr. Çandır is the Founding Chairman of Zeytinpark Inc. and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ANÇET Antalya Environment Agriculture Animal Husbandry Trade Inc. Ali Çandır is a member of the Board of Directors of ANET Antalya Tourism Construction Industry and Trade Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors of Florists Union Foreign Trade Inc. Çandır was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of TOBB in 2023.

Çandır, who served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Western Mediterranean Economic Development Foundation (BAGEV) between 2009 and 2019, served as a Member of the Council of Commodity Exchanges of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye between 2009 and 2018, and as a Member of the General Administrative Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye between 2018 and 2023. Mr. Çandır was also a member of the Board of Directors of Antalya Fair Management and Investment Joint Stock Company between 2017-2020.

Ali Çandır has received many awards for his work in the fields of environment, agriculture and animal husbandry, and training projects for farmers. Çandır received the ANSİAD Güngör Pekşen Special Award for ensuring that the Foundation Olive Grove remains as a common value of Antalya. Çandır, who was entitled to receive the award given by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for his support to Turkish agriculture and for bringing the local products fair to Türkiye, received the award presented by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the YÖREX project, which was deemed worthy of the Jury Special Award in the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye 'Chamber and Exchange Project Competition'.

Ali Çandır is married and has 2 children.
